Our fabrics

We are using premium linen fabrics and deadstock yarn. Our fabrics have European Flax® certification.
European Flax® is the guarantee of traceability for premium linen fibre grown in Europe. A natural and sustainable fibre, cultivated without artificial irrigation and GMO free guarantees high production standards that product is made of at least 95% organic. It, therefore, verifies the presence and quantity of organic matter in a final product and tracks the flow of raw materials from their origin to the final product.
Within the guarantees of this certificate, the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trade and distribution of products are analysed, as long as there is a production in organic materials (as mentioned at the beginning, always above 95% organic matter).

Crucial differences between conventional and organic linen manufacture farming practices.

Conventional linen uses synthetic pesticides herbicides and fertilizers to increase crop and protect crops. That leaves impact on environment causing soil degradation, water pollution and reduced biodiversity. Conventional linen may have lasting synthetic chemicals that can cause all typo of allergic reactions or skin disease such as rosacea or even skin cancer.
Organic linen grown relying on natural fertilizers crop rotation and biological pest control methods. Often uses more energy organically improves soil fertility reduces water pollution and supports biodiversity that minimizes environmental footprint by avoiding harmful chemicals and aiming on sustainable practices. Organic linen free from synthetic chemicals less likely perform allergic reactions and kinder on the skin preparing it safer for those with allergies or sensitivities. Quality and durability- both types of linen share essential qualities like durability breathability and comfort some argue that organic linen may be softer and longer lasting due to careful production practices.
